What's Your Favorite Media?

Tue Nov 18, 2008, 11:06 AM
All this thinking about experimenting has me wondering... what are your favorite art medias to work with? Why? What is it about that particular media that makes it your favorite?

To start things off, mine is pen and pencil. Pencil because I adore the flexibility of it - how forgiving it is, the amount of different textures I can create, and the amount of detail I can easily add. Pen, because I love its high contrast and the nice clean look a finished inking provides. The amount of detail pen will allow is another plus for me. Paper or digital canvas both work for me. I tend to prefer regular paper only because if I work on the computer too long my eyes start to hurt.

Now, your turn. :)
